Joseph Oughourlian is the founder of Amber Capital, in New-York in 2005. The firm is an established asset manager focused on Europe. Mr Oughourlian also holds the functions of Chairman of Spanish media company, Grupo Prisa and Chairman of French Ligue 1 football club, RC Lens.

He graduated from HEC Paris Business School, IEP Paris (Sciences-Po) and earned his MSc in Economic from Sorbonne in Paris.

As an investor in the sports sector, he also controls several football franchises including: RC Lens, Calcio Padova and Millonarios de Bogota.

He also serves on the boards of various companies and non-profit organisations. He is deeply involved in the socio-economic development of Armenia as an investor and philanthropist. He has been a supporter of the SFC since inception.

Being a sports enthusiast, he invests in several professional clubs around the world (RC Lens, Calcio Padova, Millonarios de Bogota, Real Zaragoza).

His Armenian origin and awareness of the country’s social issues, inspired him to join the SFC adventure from the very first day of its creation.
